Immanuel College is proud to host the Immanuel Youth Innovation Series 2023.
Powered by Future Anything, the Immanuel Youth Innovation Summits are back bigger and better for 2023. Designed and developed by educators alongside industry leaders, these engaging and hands-on Summits culminate in teams of students pitching their own innovative solutions to a complex, local issue.
Over the course of three days, students in Year 7-10 will hear from some of Australia’s most inspiring changemakers, as well as explicitly developing their entrepreneurial thinking and human-centred design skills. Culminating in a ‘Shark Tank’ style pitch experience on the final day, students will ideate, prototype, and pitch in response to the following mission:
“As an entrepreneur, pitch an innovative, scalable, and sustainable idea that also makes the world a better place.”
Just $20 per student (with supervisors/teachers attending free), registration includes breakfast and lunch for all participants on the first day as well as all the provision of all resources to support students to make the most out of the experience.

IMMANUEL YOUTH INNOVATION SERIES 2023 – OUTLINE AGENDA
All days run from 8:30 am (arrival) to 3pm
DAY 1:
Our budding changemakers begin their journey through the Entrepreneur’s Odyssey by looking inward at who they are and what matters in their world. They’ll hear from a panel of enterprising speakers before digging deeper into a problem they are passionate about solving. Then, they’ll form teams to ideate over 50 possible solutions to their chosen problem.
DAY 2:
Teams will prototype their top two solutions, before engaging in rapid rounds of feedback to develop their value proposition. After completing a short Competitor Analysis, teams move back into an ‘ideation’ phase, purposefully design ways in which their business solves ‘pain points’ for customers, and explore marketing, branding, and impact measurement. We finish off unpacking the art and science of pitching.
DAY 3:
Teams prepare for their pitch , running their ‘test’ and engaging with mentors to garner rich feedback as fuel to get better. In the afternoon, we gather in the “Shark Tank” with teams pitching to a panel of judges- and their peers!
