Sketchnoting brings together the 3 skill domains of visual language, story, and pattern-finding/sense-making. It is a powerful tool on multiple levels; it is great for understanding self, interacting with others, and making sense of the world around us. For students especially, this very teachable toolkit can be applied to live notetaking to increase understanding and retention over time, assignment mapping/planning, and revision, to name a few highly practical applications. Come dip your toe into the water of this fun and useful skillset.
