Why Partner with Future Anything?

Young people today crave an education that intrinsically links to the real world. Future Anything’s programs build a generation of young people that have the skills, support and networks to be active and engaged community changemakers.

Future Anything students develop the future capabilities they need for 21st Century jobs: an enterprising mindset that includes problem solving, project management, adaptive mindset, creativity & innovation, collaboration and communication skills.

Bridge the gap between education and entrepreneurial ecosystems by making meaningful connections between young people, educators, schools and your startup, innovation and/or  business community; supporting growth and employment.

Make your schools, teachers and young people an intrinsic part of your local entrepreneurial pipeline, connecting them and embedding them in your innovation ecosystem early, demonstrating there are real and accessible pathways to employment and opportunity locally.

Build capacity and bring new energy, thinking and innovative approaches to your schools, with practical support and professional development led by experienced educators with proven track records in innovative curriculum design and whole school implementation of entrepreneurship education.

Position your region/organisation as an innovation leader. Future Anything programs can be tailored to respond to key local drivers (eg smart cities, agtech, AI or STEM) helping you showcase your innovation agenda and infrastructure to young people at the heart of your community.

Our Projects & Partnerships

These are just some of the innovative, forward-looking organisations that Future Anything has partnered with recently.

Partner: Greater Whitsunday Alliance (GW3)
Project: For Greater Careers Education Program

Following the creation of the Mackay Isaac Whitsunday (MIW) Future Employment Study and Greater Whitsunday Future Skills Roadmap, GW3 approached Future Anything to catalyse the findings from the reports through the creation of a series of region-specific career education modules.

Future Anything led a collaborative co-design process with and educators in the region which led to the creation of ten-lesson career education units for Years 7, 8, 9, and 10 (forty lessons in total); ensuring schools can provide a well-resourced, future-focussed and whole-school approach to careers education that is relevant to young people in the MIW region.

Partner: Catholic Education South Australia (CESA)
Project: CESA Entrepreneur Network

In 2020, CESA approached Future Anything to work with them to build the entrepreneurial mindset of their students and teachers.

Future Anything designed and facilitated a series of teacher and student network days and workshops that contextualised entrepreneurial education authentically within CESA’s school settings. Learning took a trans-disciplinary approach, integrated with 21st Century thinking and pedagogies, with a focus on the CESA Key Capabilities. Much of this project took place at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, with Future Anything rapidly transitioning the program to virtual delivery.

Project: Engaging school students in _SOUTHSTART 2021 - 2024

Future Anything works closely with the team at _SOUTHSTART, Australia’s impact and innovation festival to design, host and facilitate the engagement of school-age participants at this high profile event. .

Taking place at _SOUTHSTART, Future Anything hosts fast-paced days of listening, learning and doing that bring hundreds of high school students into the heart of the _SOUTHSTART action. Partner: Queensland Social Enterprise Council (QSEC)
Project: Impact Youth Reimagined

In 2021, Queensland Social Enterprise Council (QSEC) reactivated a youth-led initiative (“Impact Youth Reimagined”) to engage Queensland’s young people with and within purpose-led organisations and to build opportunity for young people to access the support and skills to launch/scale their own purpose-led organisations.

Working alongside a range of youth and key sector stakeholders, Future Anything and Impact Boom designed and facilitated a four-day workshop series that placed young people (12-24) at the forefront of the co-design process, and culminated in a showcase event with teams of young people pitching their own innovative prototypes for a Brisbane youth social enterprise ‘hub’ and an annual youth ‘event’ to amplify youth voice in the purpose-led and social enterprise space.

Project: Activate Partnerships

Since 2019, Future Anything has worked with a host of forward looking, innovative organisations across Australia to embed our immersive, in-curriculum Activate program in the schools in their regions.

Working on a co-funding model, with the partner and schools contributing equally, schools can access all of the benefits of the Activate program- including extensive teacher professional development, fully resourced curriculum and post-program student pathways- in their choice of subject, from English, Civics and Business to Science or STEM. Over 35 schools and many hundreds of students have benefited from these partnerships, with the majority of schools continuing with Activate long after co-funding has ceased.

Partner: Western Downs Regional Council
Project: Launch+ Youth Business Program

When Queensland’s Western Downs Regional Council wanted to engage young people in their region in entrepreneurship and social enterprise, they turned to Future Anything.

We created a ten part Launch+ youth business program that steps young people through some of the key things they need to know to launch a business – including building a Business Models Canvas, branding, marketing, competitor analysis, nailing your value proposition, funding, pitching and more.

This was my first year teaching Activate and at first I was nervous about having to “know so much”, but the lessons are so easy to follow and work so well that it was almost effortless to implement. It was enjoyable to teach and inspiring to see the outcome - thank you Activate - it was a great program!

JodieWavell SHS, QLD

Activate has brought more relevance and importance to my lessons as the teaching is embedded in current issues and topics relevant to the students. Our students are more independent and self motivated, and see themselves as having the power to solve problems rather than waiting for someone else to fix it.

JuliaBribie Island SHS, QLD

Activate is an amazing program that takes students through a process that not only helps them to create a business idea, but makes them believe in themselves. The Activate program enables students to experience a world outside of school, and show them all the possibilities they can achieve.

VickiRedbank Plains SHS, QLD

I absolutely loved teaching the Activate program and can't wait to deliver it again next year. The Future Anything Team are fantastic and provide regular, valuable support. It is an amazing, innovative and forward thinking initiative that the students can really get their teeth into.

AlexiaCardijn College, SA

Activate provided all the resources and step by step guidance for us to deliver the program confidently. Our students were engaged and driven, we loved seeing them actively collaborating in their learning, preparing pitches that had real meaning for them.

SandraCabra Dominical College, SA

Activate is a game changer in education, it provides many opportunities for student voices to not only be heard, but celebrated in these ever changing times. If you want to see passionate engaged students in your classrooms, Activate is the way to go!

ShaneBribie Island SHS

[Activate] is complete and enclosed so that you can start teaching it right away. The material is presented and assessed in a manner that makes it come alive and be very exciting. It was reassuring to know that I was delivering quality content with proven methods.

JimWhitsunday Anglican School, QLD

We loved integrating the Future Anything Program into our Business Education classes. The students were engaged from day one and the personal success they felt when they realised that anyone can succeed in this subject if they find their passion and learn to hustle. I would highly recommend this program!
