Exciting Opportunity for City of Parramatta Schools to access $1500 in Funding for Activate 2022
Thanks to the generosity of the City of Parramatta, schools located in the Parramatta LGA can now access $1500 in co-funding to be part of Future Anything’s Activate in-curriculum entrepreneurship program in 2022.
Activate is a practical, supported and a fun (yes, fun!) way to bring the key future capabilities (creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and more) and a Project-Based Learning pedagogy to your classrooms.
Delivered over one or two terms as an assessable unit of work within your Year 7-10 classrooms, Activate can be embedded in Science, English, Business, Civics, STEM, and Health & Physical Education.
With the program culminating in a large-scale and exciting National Competition, Parramatta students will have the opportunity to pitch for the funding and support to launch their ideas out of the classroom and into the real world.
As educators ourselves, we know that great education starts with supported educators. Activate educators are provided with extensive ‘ready to go’ lesson plans and resources, summative and formative assessment tools, and (perhaps most importantly) a full day of Professional Development, alongside ongoing 1-1 coaching and support.
