A lot of famous entrepreneurs like Bill Gates, Sophia Amoruso and Steve Jobs started their companies from home.
Now, with the workforce rapidly changing, working from home or starting a business from home, is no longer a pipe dream. Recently, there’s been a surge of jobs to do or ventures to start from home.
In many instances, all you need is a computer. This article, from Entrepreneur, describes 50 work-from-home jobs that you can start right now.
Have students read the article "50 Work-From-Home Jobs" from Entrepreneur
Then, have student choose three of these working-from-home jobs and answer the following questions:
- What does the job entail? I.e. what is it that you do in this job?
- How much does it pay?
- Is there scope to start your own business?
- How big can this job grow into?
- If you were to start this job or business now, how would it benefit what you want to do or study after school?
Now that you’ve explored all these options, ideate some other jobs or businesses you can do or start from home.
