Marian Wright is first and foremost a learner. She has over ten years experience teaching and leading in state, independent and alternative schools in Queensland.
Marian has a keen interest in the evolution of work and is particularly curious about the interplay between the labour market and formal schooling. She is deeply invested in working with schools and industry to design learning that activates the agency of young people and educators to make an impact in a complex world. Marian has significant experience in designing and delivering creative and innovative pedagogy that breathes life into curriculum and connects clasroom learning to local and global communities. Marian holds additional qualifications in leadership and learning analytics, enabling her to have a unique and multi-layered perspective on data informed learning and teaching.
At Future Anything, Marian is the Program Director for Activate, leading the development, delivery and growth of Future Anything’s flagship in-curriculum enterprise- thinking program.
Marian loves coffee, cooking and a good podcast. In her spare time, you can find her with her nose in a book or attempting a Reformer Pilates workout.
