Unified First Aid

2023 Future Anything Grand Final Winner
Blaize and Saxon, Ferny Grove State High School (QLD)

Blaize and Harley from Ferny Grove State High School pitch Unified First Aid, which is a specialised course developed to instruct people with disabilities how to administer first aid. The top prize will support the team to develop and scale their business in the real world.

Unified First Aid was crowned Future Anything Grand Final 2023 winner, taking out the top prize worth close to $20,000. The prize pack included $2500 cash, a branding support package from Adelaide’s Avenue de Saxe , development days with the Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and Queensland Social Enterprise Council, mentoring with Solesearcher Adventures,  an Empathy & Impact Masterclass courtesy of Empathy First, access to SomethingQ 2024 and, excitingly, inclusion in the 2024 cohort of YouthX, Australia’s only accelerator program for school-age entrepreneurs.

About the Future Anything National Grand Final 2023

In the culmination of Future Anything’s Activate 2023 program, eight teams of school-age entrepreneurs pitched their innovative, scalable and sustainable social enterprise ideas live on stage, before facing tough questions from judges Belinda Morrissey (Chair, Social Enterprise Australia & CEO, English Family Foundation), Dr Catherine Ball (Futurist, Author & Associate Professor, ANU), Joel Connolly (Creative Director, Blackbird Ventures & Head, Blackbird Foundation), Kristy Chong OAM (Founder, Modibodi) and Sarah Liu (Founder & Managing Director, TDC Global)

The event was generously supported by Major Partners Advance Queensland and the Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and a host of epic organisations who contributed prizes to support the school-age entrepreneurs.
