Join us for Live Learning 15:
Building Human Capability
Live Learning is Future Anything’s continuing professional development series for educators.
Each month, we chat with awesome movers, shakers, thinkers and doers from the world of entrepreneurship, education and beyond on topics designed to help build enterprising mindsets in schools.

The changing economy and workforce have made it essential to define the competencies and capabilities necessary for future success and social mobility. However, in Australia, the representation of educational achievement is narrowly defined by the Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR), which does not fully reflect the skills and capabilities needed for a changing workforce.
In this Live Learning session we’re joined by Hassan Mekawy (and Pip Cleaves (Deputy Principal – Strategic Initiatives, NSW Department of Education) to unpack how we can prioritise the development of capabilities as integral to the purpose of education.
We’ll will explore the skills and competencies required for building human capability, how we can future proof curriculum, and ideas to develop closer collaboration between industry and education.
