Live Learning 06: Designing Schools for Teacher and Student Wellbeing
Live Learning is Future Anything’s continuing professional development series for educators.
Each month, Future Anything’s Nicole Dyson chats with awesome movers, shakers, thinkers and doers from the world of entrepreneurship, education and beyond on topics designed to help build entrepreneurial mindsets in schools.
On Tuesday 12 October 2021, Nic was joined by Nicola Bone, Director, Sound Off For Schools and Louka Parry, CEO & Founder, The Learning Future.
In Australia, anywhere between 24 and 46% per cent of teachers reported experiencing stress in their work. And, one in seven young people aged 4 to 17 years experience a mental health condition in any given year. With statistics like this on the rise, Nic, Nicola and Louka unpacked how we can approach designing schools with health and wellbeing of both staff and students at the forefront.
