Join us for Live Learning 10: Tackling Bullying – online & in the classroom

Live Learning is Future Anything’s continuing professional development series for educators.

Each month, Future Anything’s Nicole Dyson chats with awesome movers, shakers, thinkers and doers from the world of entrepreneurship, education and beyond on topics designed to help build enterprising mindsets in schools.

In this Live Learning session, Nic was joined by  Lucy Thomas OAM, Co-Founder & Co-CEO, PROJECT ROCKIT.

PROJECT ROCKIT was launched by Rosie and Lucy Thomas, two Melbourne sisters who saw the opportunity to build diversity, citizenship and resilience by tackling the issue of bullying in school communities. The organisation builds spaces where imagination, leadership, creative expression and acceptance are available to all young people.

PROJECT ROCKIT has now worked with hundreds and thousands of school students and developed the Aussie-first eLearning curriculum – P-ROCK Online. Extending beyond its grassroots work with young people, PROJECT ROCKIT also serves as a key consultant to Australian government bodies and corporates, including the Office of the eSafety Commissioner, Telstra, Twitter and Microsoft Australia, developing company-endorsed strategies for dealing with cyberbullying.

Live online on Wednesday 5 July 2022, together Nic and Lucy unpacked a critical issue facing all educators, schools, caregivers, young people and communities: tackling bullying online and in the classroom.
